A Match Grade replacement threaded barrel for the Walther PDP Steel Frame. Made from gun barrel certified 4140 steel and heat treated to 40-44 RC for unmatched strength and longevity. Both stress relieved and hardened to ensure accuracy and durability.  Machined to ensure uniform bore and groove dimensions throughout the length of the barrel.  Chambered with custom reamers designed in house to balance accuracy and reliability.  We manufacture these barrels for discriminating shooters who demand the greatest degree of accuracy and long life from their Walther pistols. Conventionally rifled for lead and jacketed bullets, with a fully supported chamber. O-Ring installed on barrel threads to secure thread protector when firing. Multiple thread patterns available.

STANDARD BLACK VS. DLC BLACK:

Our standard black coating is a black oxide finish.  It is a deep black finish similar to that of DLC, but will wear much quicker.  The DLC coating is an extremely hard, thin film finish that is very wear resistant.  The longevity of our barrels are not affected by the coating selected.  We manufacture these barrels from 4140 gun barrel quality steel due to this steels superior ability to handle heat when compared to other steels that are used for gun barrels.

The life of the barrel will not be affected by the coating selected.  Only the external wear of the finish will vary.  All PVD and DLC finishes will be similar in their resistance to wear.
