A Match Grade Heavy Barrel for the Remington 597. Multiple lengths available as well as threaded and unthreaded options to suit your needs. Groups as small as 5/16″ achieved at 50 yards.

Very satisfied with fit and finish of the barrel. Installation instructions were clear and easy to follow. So far I’ve fired CCI Maxi Mag 40g and Hornady V-MAX 30g ammo with no feed or firing issues. I did install a Volquartsen Remington 597 Target Hammer & Exact Edge Extractor at the same time as the barrel. At 100 yards from a bench rest 5 rounds of the CCI ammo had a maximum spread of 3 inches with 2 rounds 3/8 inch apart. Five rounds of the Hornady ammo had a maximum spread of 1 5/8 inches with 4 rounds less than 3/4 inch apart which were fully covered by a US quarter.
My 597 was originally a .17 HMR so I didn’t need to change anything else in rifle to convert it to 22 WRM.
